Mona Lisa Project

     For this project, I had to take Leonardo Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" and use it to make a colored contour drawing. First, I did the black lines, then the colors, then the background, then the shading.
What I changed:
*Color scheme: cool colors (I used blues and grays instead of the original yellows and browns)
* Different outfit (robe and shirt instead of blouse)
* Made face skinnier and added eyebrows, also added moon symbol on forehead
* Changed hair (made it straight instead of wavy)
*Different background (mountains)

This project was the same as the previous recoloring project, but the image had to be a photograph from Ansel Adams, a black and white nature photographer. It was much easier to do than the previous project, because everything blended together and I didn't have to worry about getting the lines exactly right.

Digital Painting of Choice: Sketchbook Pro

For this assignment I had to create a painting of my choice in Sketchbook Pro. As you can see, I did a painting of a witch and a cat. In all honesty, I actually didn't do this painting in Sketchbook Pro, I did it in Krita, which is a free art program I have on my computer at home. I did this at home with my own tablet because I was having trouble with the brushes lagging and the painting would have turned out terrible if I did it at school. Anyways, I hope you like it because it took longer than expected to do!

Contour/Collage Portrait

For this project, I had to take a picture of myself and fill up the space around my face with pictures and contour lines. After taking a picture of myself in photo booth, I decided to theme my border objects as representing the 4 seasons, each corner is a different season. After putting together the border, I used different colors to do contour lines on most of the objects, resulting in a cool-looking, quirky collage.
