Human/Nature Portrait

For this assignment, I had to seamlessly blend a person with nature to create a really cool surreal portrait. It was modeled after the work of Antonio Mora and I decided to blend a heavily made-up face with a monarch butterfly because I thought the deep darks of the eyelashes match the blacks on the butterfly's wings.

For the 9 panel comic strip project, I had to draw 9 panels and then put them all together in this grid format to make a comic. This project was a lot of work and took a long time because I had to do a ton of drawing. My favorite part of this project was drawing the landscape that is the background, the rest of it was really tedious. I know the comic isn't that funny, but that's kindof funny in itself (it's so bad it's funny).
