For this assignment, I had to make it look like I visited one of the seven wonders of the world. I Photoshopped a picture of me onto a background of the Great Wall of China, and then I adjusted the lighting and skin tone of my picture so it would blend more into the background.

For the Street Art assignment, I had to create a piece in Sketchbook Pro that looked like spray-painted street art. This was my first time using Sketchbook Pro, and it was fairly easy to use and had a lot more tools than ArtRage. For my piece, I chose to do two shadowy cats on a brick wall. I found a picture of a wall on the internet, and then I painted the cats onto it. I really like the result because I think it looks a lot like spray paint.

Image Inside Text

This was a really fun and easy assignment that required me to use Photoshop CS5 to put an image inside text. I chose to do the word summer with a summer beach scene inside it. Following instructions from online, I created a clipping mask on the image to make it fit perfectly inside the letters. Overall, I think that it looks really cool, and it's great that it was so easy!

For this project, I chose a picture of a person whose face needed a little bit of "retouching". Then , in Photoshop, I used a combination of blurring, blending, and coloring to smooth out the acne on the person's face.
