Scanned Felt Tip Drawing

For this project, I had to create a line drawing with a black felt tip pen, and then scan it and color it in Photoshop. This project was fairly easy, because for me it's way easier to draw on paper rather than a computer, and it was really cool to see what my line art looked like when colored on the computer.

Look who's in our school! It's the Cat in the Hat and the rest of the Dr. Seuss crew. This project took me a long time to decide who to let past the school gates, and then I remembered how much I loved the Dr. Seuss books when I was little and so I chose characters from all of my favorite books. I really enjoyed doing this project and I think it looks really good with the cartoon characters on a photo background. To make the scene look more realistic, I added shadows underneath the characters.

For this project, I chose a picture of a person whose face needed a little bit of "retouching". Then , in Photoshop, I used a combination of blurring, blending, and coloring to smooth out the acne on the person's face.

Magazine Cover Assignment

For this project, I had to photoshop my face onto the cover of  a magazine in place of the model's face. It took a while to find a magazine cover that I liked, and then I took a picture of my face with the computer's camera. I had to enhance and adjust the skin tone of my face to make it blend in more with the model's body.
